Rainer Stropek graduated the Higher Technical School Leonding (Austria) for MIS with honors and holds a BSc (Hons) Computer Studies of the University of Derby (UK).

He is co-founder and CEO of software architects GmbH, a www.IT-Visions.de partner company located in Austria, and has been serving this role since 2008. At software architects Rainer Stropek and his team are developing the award-winning SaaS time tracking solution time cockpit. Previously, Rainer Stropek has founded and led two IT consulting firms that work in the area of developing software solution based on the Microsoft technology stack.

He is recognized as an international expert concerning .NET development, software architectures, database management and cloud computing. For the last years he has primarily focused on technologies, business models, and software designs in the area of cloud-based multi-tenant SaaS solutions on the Microsoft’s .NET technology platform.

Rainer Stropek works for www.IT-Visions.de as a senior expert consultant and trainer for .NET technologies since 2010.

In 2010 Rainer Stropek was one of the 25 first people worldwide who have received a Microsoft MVP award (Most Valuable Professionals) for the cloud computing platform Windows Azure.
